MAGCS March Meeting – Labor Saving Techniques
Two - One Hour Events 9-10 am on March 9 and 10.
Outside Contractors and other Labor-Saving Strategies
Tuesday March 9 – TALK ONE Features four speakers who provide outside contract services to help golf courses take care of tasks and procedures that were once all done “in-house”.
Renny Jacobson, Frank Marianni, Jr., Erik Johnson, and Mike Skopik will talk about how members are working their services into the maintenance of the golf course ranging from aerification, landscape and tree maintenance to irrigation repair.
Wednesday March 10 – TALK TWO Features Golf Course Superintendents who find new ways using a combination of their staffs and outside contractors to manage their golf courses. Craig Kight and Mark Kosbab, CGCS and Jeremy Turton will lead the discussion sharing their experiences using outside help, finding employees and scheduling them for success.
Both events will be conducted via Zoom and are FREE for members of MAGCS.
