Job Description
Our second assistant will assist in the daily planning, supervision and execution of all maintenance activities.  Additionally, the employee will assist in the application of fertilizer and pesticide products and the maintenance of the irrigation system.  The candidate must have or acquire a state issued Pesticide license.  Additionally, the assistant will take on various inventory and purchasing responsibilities.
 
Requirements
2-4 year degree in turfgrass related field.  3 years/seasons of work- related experience; previous experience as a 2nd Assistant Superintendent a plus.  The candidate should desire to pursue a career in golf course management, do thorough work and be very organized.  Strong oral and written communicative skills are a must.  Individual should be highly motivated, have an eye for detail and willing to lead by example; Spanish speaking a plus.

           When at the customer’s location, help in any possible way (safely)

           Pull orders for deliveries and pickups

           Wrap pallets of products with our stretch wrap machine

           Load trucks (ACI trucks and/or customers) by hand and/or by forklift

           Unload inbound products by hand and/or forklift

           Unload products or equipment at customers’ locations

           Assist in shop duties (washing/cleaning/painting/minor repairs of ACI trucks/ equipment)

           Assist in warehouse maintenance and repairs

           Assist in physical inventory

           Maintain your own equipment including cleaning, washing, & organizing

           Snow plow, shovel and salt  facility

           Relay customers’ needs, requests and concerns back to sales rep, customer service rep and/or warehouse manager

           Work well with other employees
